Stithians Lake

Stithians Lake in Cornwall is considered one of the windiest inland waters in England. It's not surprising therefore that it's a favourite with windsurfers and sailors alike.

At the lake you can enjoy a range of water-based activities including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and multi-activity days. There is a campsite adjacent to the water’s edge and a cafe onsite for light lunches and refreshment.

Summer half term activities at Stithians Lake - Monday 27 May 2024 to Sunday 02 June 2024

Stithians Lake is the perfect place to visit this summer half term! Enjoy an unforgettable family adventure, jam-packed with new experiences.

The Activity Centre is open seven days a week for watersports equipment hire, launch and bespoke tuition during half term. Join a 'have a go' sailing or windsurfing session - a great way to try an activity for the first time with friends or family. The two-hour sessions are led by qualified instructors and are an ideal opportunity to gain basic skills and have fun.

Or try your hand at a variety of land and water-based activities on a Multi-Activity Day for eight to 16-year-olds on Tuesday 28 May. This could be sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboard and raft building, depending on the weather conditions on the day.

There are also junior and adult sailing courses available.
