Polgoon is a Cornish Vineyard & Orchard that has successfully produced a range of award winning wines, ciders and juices. They have also diversified their range to include some unique sparkling products, a Sparkling Aval (Cornish for apple), an Elderflower Sparkling wine that they also produce for River Cottage.

John and Kim Coulson, transformed Polgoon Vineyard from a rundown farm to create a flourishing vineyard and orchard where they not only produce and grow the vines but now also have a shop and deli where you can attend tours and tastings. Polgoon products are highly regarded not just in the South West but all over the UK. 

Vineyard Tours
The vineyard tours cover a walk through the Cornish Orchard and then up to the vines, the heart of our Cornish vineyard. They give you plenty of information about the apple varieties, grape types, and the care and pruning regimes.

Then you return to a talk about the production operations in the winery, this covers the various processes from pressing the fruit, for our Cornish Cider and Cornish Wine, the fermentation and how the method traditionnelle is used to make our English sparkling wine in Cornwall! Then across to the shop for a product tasting!
