Customers love the large outside park area as there’s so much room for the little ones to safely run around and play in the fresh air! There’s lots of play equipment including our wooden castle and pirate ship, trampolines, rowing boats, go-karts and more.
Do your little ones love animals and being able to touch them? Our daily programme of activities gives visitors the opportunity to meet and interact with our animals – giving you a great day family day out whilst the little ones are also learning!
Trotting good fun!
Our gentle horses and ponies can be ridden around various parts of the park, led by our experienced staff. Children love being able to experience a pony ride and our ponies love a bit of pampering, during the pony grooming sessions which you can join in too! There’s also plenty of photo opportunities for Mum and Dad to snap away for the family album.
Come and meet our new arrivals!
Our male alpacas (Rolo, Morgan and Zeus) moved in at the end of June 2015. From the same place as Paddington Bear, alpacas originate from Peru and Chile.
This year the boys have been joined by four miniature pigs, which we’re sure you’ll agree are very cute! We also have two new giant rabbits who’ve moved in for lots of bunny cuddles from the children!
Over the winter we took in two gorgeous goats called “Bill” and “Ben” whose owner was no longer able to care for them. All our animals have been settling in nicely and are looking forward to meeting everyone!
Our lambs are very cute and playful, often bouncing around on their four tiny legs! They drink [insert amount] of milk each day and children (and big kids) can have a go at bottle feeding them and seeing them up close.
Throughout the day we have various activities including cuddles with our rabbits, you can feed the ducks, goats and pigs and catch the train which rides around the park stopping to feed the [name of fish] or have a go at some pond dipping.
Bottle-feed our lambs
Our new orphan lambs arrived in March and are very cute and playful, often bouncing around on their four tiny legs! Children (and big kids) can have a go at bottle feeding them and seeing them up close – watching their little tails wiggle with excitement when they see the bottles!
Throughout the day we have various activities starting with a duck race. This year proceeds are going towards the Help Izzy Walk campaign to help raise money for a local school girl to receive a life changing operation to walk. Place your bets and keep your fingers crossed as you cheer your duck to the finish line. Will it be Daffy, Crazy Quackers, Jemima or Speedy Gonzales that wins?
All aboard the Springfields train for a free ride around the park. Departure times are throughout the day and is great fun for all the family!
Lots of ways to play!
Maybe Mum and Dad fancy a romantic row around the lake or a race against the kids? Don’t worry Mum, the lake is [insert number] metres deep. If you’re still feeling competitive then you can have a go on our go-karts and there’s still plenty more to do!
Row row row your boat…
Maybe Mum and Dad fancy a romantic row around the lake or a race against the kids? The boats at the Boating Lake were in the workshop over the winter being repainted.
If you’re lucky and keep your eyes open whilst rowing, you might see our wild ducks nesting on the inner bank with their ducklings!
Don’t worry – come and play in the Springfields Play Barn!
The play barn is great fun for your little ones with plenty of space to run and play alongside each other! Are you brave enough to have a go on the vertical Drop Slide – if not then the wavy Astra Mat Slides are great for big and little kids of all ages! Plus our Enchanted Wood offers a spooky play setting!
