    Pirates of the New World - Preview - Pirate's Quest

    Be the first to embark on the brand-new Pirate’s Quest adventure when it premieres during February Half Term.
    Be the first to embark on the brand-new Pirate’s Quest adventure when it premieres during February Half Term. The fresh storyline for 2020 will take inspiration from the Mayflower voyage, currently commemorating its 400th anniversary year.

    Newquay’s piratical walk-through attraction will take new recruits on an adventure discovering ‘Pirates of the New World’. Calico Jack’s crew of live pirate performers will guide wannabe Jack Sparrow’s through the authentic sets and scenes and introduce visitors to the life of real Seventeenth Century buccaneers.

    Prospective pirates are advised to book online as experiences regularly sell out due to popularity.

    Find out who flies underwater, juggles the best and has the strongest beak – and dress as your favourite Superhero as you try our fun half term educational Super Quiz!

    While exploring the Park on the quiz, enjoy the daily events including ‘Carrot Time’ in the Fun Farm at 11am, and if the weather is fine, at 2pm we will have ‘Flying Macaws’ free flying circuits from their aviary near the JungleBarn! Great photo opportunity.

    At 11am and 3pm you could be chosen to help feed the penguins, or experience the ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ at 2:30pm with an option to buy some nectar and help feed these wonderful little parrots, in the Walled Garden ‘Australian Aviaries’.

    Use your own superpowers in the JungleBarn Play Centre… fly down the slides, climb the fireman’s pole, see how fast you can go on the spinning discs and try the squeeze rollers!

    The little ones can try their hand at the dancing balls in the toddler’s zone. All the family can join in the fun in the JungleBarn indoor play centre!

The Sanctuary is set amongst 40 acres of beautiful woodland, the perfect resting point for enjoying views of the picturesque Helford River.     Cornwall Air Ambulance have partnered with the Cornish Pirates and St Austell Brewery to bring you this new and exciting event!

    We’ll start the day at Mennaye Field, home of the Cornish Pirates for a 10.15am registration, before heading out on an 8km walk taking in the sights, walking along the promenade and making a few stops at various watering holes for suitable refreshments along the way. The Ramble will return to the Pirates with plenty of time for the 2.30pm kick off!

    Now fully warmed up, we’ll arrive at Mennaye Field, home of the Cornish Pirates.

    As part of the Rugby Ramble group, you’ll have your match ticket as well as a pasty and pint at the game paid for – plus the exclusive Rugby Ramble T-shirt!

    £35pp or £30pp (group bookings of 5+)

    The Rugby Ramble is a fantastic day out at the rugby, but it’s also a hugely important fundraising event for the charity that will help save more time and more lives.  With just a few months left to raise the remaining money towards the New Heli Appeal, your registration fees will be crucial in helping bring the new air ambulance to Cornwall.

    There are some real Superhero animals at Paradise Park!

    Find out who flies underwater, juggles the best and has the strongest beak – and dress as your favourite Superhero as you try our fun half term educational Super Quiz!

    While exploring the Park on the quiz, enjoy the daily events including ‘Carrot Time’ in the Fun Farm at 11am, and if the weather is fine, at 2pm we will have ‘Flying Macaws’ free flying circuits from their aviary near the JungleBarn! Great photo opportunity.

    At 11am and 3pm you could be chosen to help feed the penguins, or experience the ‘Flight of the Rainbows’ at 2:30pm with an option to buy some nectar and help feed these wonderful little parrots, in the Walled Garden ‘Australian Aviaries’.

    Use your own superpowers in the JungleBarn Play Centre… fly down the slides, climb the fireman’s pole, see how fast you can go on the spinning discs and try the squeeze rollers!

    The little ones can try their hand at the dancing balls in the toddler’s zone. All the family can join in the fun in the JungleBarn indoor play centre!

    A bespoke and exclusive venue, and a first for RCHT Charity, Truro Cathedral - YES IT'S THE FIRST EVER SILENT DISCO AT THE CATHEDRAL - is throwing open its doors to raise funds for RCHT Charity and Butterfly Cornwall.

    This is a rare opportunity for you all to have ‘A St Piran’s Night at the Cathedral’ with a fantastic fully stocked bar by the iconic Skinner's Brewery running down the length of the Cathedral, including divine cocktails!

    To celebrate St Piran’s Day you’ll be royally entertained with renowned and rowdy jump jive band Company B and Cornish sea shanty singing by local group ‘Hit and Miss’.

    In another first for the Cathedral there’s a silent disco if you fancy shimmying up and down and in and out at top volume without disturbing a soul around you.

    Feast on the famous Ann’s pasties and saffron buns, all available to buy inside the Cathedral and indulge at our amazing Skinner's Bar, maybe throw a cocktail into the mix?
