The Regal, situated on The Platt in Wadebridge opened in January 1931 and has entertained the people of Wadebridge and North Cornwall for the past 75 years.regalday

Today, the cinema boasts two auditoria, Theatres 1 & 2, seating 224 and 96 respectively. Theatre 1 is equipped with Pullman seating, and Dolby 7.1 Surround Sound and Theatre 2 has large comfortable seating and Six Channel (5.1) Surround Sound. Screen 2 features the MasterImage 3D system for presenting the latest Digital 3D movies. Both auditoria are fully air-conditioned and have disabled access. Infra-red systems have been installed for the hard of hearing.

The Regal was selected to host the British Premieres of “Amy Foster” in April 1998 and “Saving Grace” in May 2000. The cinemas favoured by all the major film companies as a venue for the latest releases and many films play concurrent with London and national openings.
