The Underground Tour
The underground tour takes you from the light into the dark, from the 20th century mine into the early days of mining. In the Wheal Mexico Mine it is easy to image Victorian miners, men and boys, working long hard hours in the dark and cramped conditions.
The Hard Rock Museum
Hard Rock Museum tells the story of metal mining in Cornwall, one of Cornwall's great industries. Get interactive in the museum!
The Dry
Take in the atmosphere and ambience of the miners dry, which has been left almost exactly as it was on the day the last working miner left.
Looking Down Victory Shaft
Below the iconic headgear you can look down Victory shaft. Can you imagine travelling in one of those 'cages', or even climbing down ladders to the bottom of Victory Shaft 480 metres below?
Mineral Panning
Have a go at panning for 'gold' and gems and you can keep what you find for FREE!

We are very excited to announce our annual 'Geevor Gala Day' celebration will be held on Sunday 2nd August! This year it will be bigger and better than ever before!
We will be joined by lots of former Geevor employees sharing their stories and experiences from working at Geevor, Aswell as a brilliant host of onsite activities, entertainment and music featuring, Alasdair Hoswell Author & Illustrator, Funny Faces Cornwall, Jenna Witts, Bryher's Boys, Boscastle Border Morris, Clint Hosking Music, around site entertainment from our very own Marc, and a vintage carousel!
