Marine Conservation Society Good Beach Guide Recommended 2015 - excellent water quality.
A lovely clean beach, north-west facing sandy cove surrounded by low cliffs and backed by sand dunes. This popular family beach offers an expanse of fine sand at low water with plenty of nooks to discover. It is a short walk around the point from Constantine Bay to the north with good marine wildlife.
This surf spot is popular from mid to high tide, with rights and lefts into the middle of the beach. Popular in the summer months with tourists. Suitable for: Intermediates Dangers: Rocks, rips at low tide and along rocks Tides: Surfable at mid to high tide. Wind: E/SE offshore.
Easy level access from the car park.
