At the lake you can enjoy a range of activities both on and off the water including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, high ropes and archery. Hire our equipment, launch your own or learn something new with one of the friendly and qualified instructors.
There is also a campsite adjacent to the water’s edge and a licensed cafe on the opposite side of the lake with a large play area to entertain youngsters and families for hours.
An abundance of flora and fauna, and a lovely scattering of nature trails and footpaths to different areas of the lake, offer visitors the opportunity to appreciate the peaceful beauty of water, woodland and forestry on a walk or bicycle.

Overview
Roadford Lake is the perfect place to visit this summer! Enjoy an unforgettable family adventure, jam-packed with new experiences.
We have an action-packed activity programme suitable for all ages and abilities. Activities include Multi-Activity Days and two-day RYA sailing courses for children and adults.
Hire a variety of watersports equipment, launch your own kit or learn something new by taking part in a bespoke instructor-led session.
Explore miles of paths and cycle ways - extend your stay and camp!

Enjoy a fun-filled day and experience a variety of different land and water-based activities.
This could be sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, raft building, archery and high ropes depending on the weather conditions on the day.
The Activity Days are suitable for ages eight to 16.
Two-day RYA sailing courses
Dates:
Adult Level 2 Sail - Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July
Junior Stage 1 Sail - Wednesday 29 and Thursday 30 July
Junior Stage 2 Sail - Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 August
RYA courses are internationally recognised qualifications. Participating in these courses will help you to learn and develop invaluable skills such as teamwork, determination, communication, independence, confidence and creative problem solving.
Bespoke tuition sessions

We are also offering bespoke tuition sessions in sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding every Saturday - the perfect opportunity to learn something new with your friends and family and create new memories.
