Roadford Lake

At the lake you can enjoy a range of activities both on and off the water including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, high ropes, climbing and archery. Hire our equipment, launch your own or learn something new with one of the friendly and qualified instructors.

There is also a campsite adjacent to the water’s edge and a licensed cafe on the opposite side of the lake.

An abundance of flora and fauna, and a lovely scattering of nature trails and footpaths to different areas of the lake, offer visitors the opportunity to appreciate the peaceful beauty of water, woodland and forestry on a walk or bicycle. A large play area will entertain youngsters and families for hours.

Enjoy an unforgettable family adventure, jam-packed with new experiences at Roadford Lake this summer half term.

We have an action-packed activity programme suitable for all ages and abilities. Activities include kayaking, paddleboarding, winging, sailing, windsfurfing, high ropes and archery. You can also hire a variety of watersports equipment, launch your own craft or learn something new by taking part in a bespoke instructor-led session.

Roadford is also a place where you can relax and observe the resident wildlife, somewhere to stretch your legs and embrace a moment of calm or a scenic retreat where you can enjoy a well-deserved café treat.
