At the lake you can enjoy a range of activities both on and off the water including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, high ropes and archery. Hire our equipment, launch your own or learn something new with one of the friendly and qualified instructors. 

There is also a campsite adjacent to the water’s edge and a licensed cafe on the opposite side of the lake with a large play area to entertain youngsters and families for hours.

An abundance of flora and fauna, and a lovely scattering of nature trails and footpaths to different areas of the lake, offer visitors the opportunity to appreciate the peaceful beauty of water, woodland and forestry on a walk or bicycle.

Roadford Lake Summer Fair - Sunday 05 July 2026

This exciting South West Lakes Trust event promises to be a day of fun and connection with nature for visitors of all ages.

Explore an array of unique local crafts lovingly created by talented artisans and enjoy live music performances that will set the perfect backdrop for a delightful lakeside day. Gain insights into the natural world with engaging wildlife talks by our experts. For the adventure seekers, there will be watersports activities to make a splash. There will also be fun games and activities to entertain the entire family, and don't forget to bring your furry friends along for scenic dog walks around the lake.

The Roadford Lake Summer Fair will run from 11am to 4pm. With free parking and free entry, it’s the perfect opportunity to gather your loved ones and enjoy a memorable day.
