The club was the brain child of Ken Hart & Keith Bailey and in 1982 they set about obtaining the land where the Carp Pool is today, with a small group of fellow enthusiastic anglers and family members work was started, now 35 years later there are two pools and 100 members who regularly use them.

As a club we strive to make angling a hobby for all the family, so anglers and none anglers are always welcome to visit the pools.

Day tickets are available on the bank side, so why not pop down and give the pools a try, the quiet and peaceful location will make it a truly relaxing day out, we have toilet facilities and disabled access swims on both pools.

Please ensure you have a current rod license or licenses for the rods you are carrying as we work closely with the Environment Agency and you can be asked to show you license by the club bailiffs or members at any time.
