Watergate Bay

Watergate Bay is one of Cornwall's most famous beaches; known for it's immense expanse of sand, and strong film and celebrity connections (Jamie Oliver, anyone?) The Premier in advert with Lenny Henry.
Popular for it's regular events, Watergate Bay is host to many sporting activities and displays, including the annual Polo on the Beach, and a series of intense sports shows, hosted in conjunction with the Xtreme Academy.
Watergate is one of the few year-round dog friendly beaches, offering nearly 2 miles of sandy shoreline at low tide. In addition to the large beach, it has a multitude of exciting caves and rock pools to explore.
