  South East Cornwall Museum Forum are holding a Grand Family / Local History Discovery Day on Saturday 15th June from 10am – 3pm at Liskeard Public Hall West Street Liskeard.

  Find our about your ancestry including how they lived, what they did for a living, what their house was like.

  Free entry and all day refreshments.

  Dinosaur Summer Adventure - Paradise Park & Jungle Barn

  Roar into the Daily Dinosaur Show, running from 23rd May - Half Term through to the end of August.

  • Meet the huge new dinosaur stars, along with some of the cutest baby dinosaurs, as our expert wranglers bring them to life.
  • Discover how dinosaurs didn’t really disappear — birds are their living descendants… They didn’t just evolve from dinosaurs, THEY ARE DINOSAURS!
  • From mighty giants to the birds we see every day, you will uncover amazing facts, big surprises, and plenty of roars along the way and become a ‘Professor of Palaeontology’ on the fun quiz!  It’s a show packed with excitement, learning, and unforgettable moments for dinosaur fans of all ages.

  When you step into Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary and you are instantly transported into a world bursting with life. With over 130 species and more than 1,200 incredible birds, plus charming mammals like otters, red squirrels, red pandas, and even tiny harvest mice, the park already feels like a hidden treasure.

  100 Years of Bugle Band Contest - Wheal Martyn Clay Works

  100 Years of Bugle Band Contest is a celebration of the centenary of the Bugle Band Contest which is held within our parish.

  It will showcase memorabilia collected from previous contests and share the significance of the contest – the stories of how it was formed, its roots in the community, and where it is today.  

  Further details: The 2026 Bugle Brass Band Contest will be held on Saturday 20 June at Molinnis Park, Bugle. 

  Time:         10.00am to 5.00pm (last entry to museum 4.00pm)
