Journey through the magical garden trail exploring woodlands and gardens beautifully lit with installations and lanterns. Discover glittering tunnels of light, trees lit from within and enchanting larger-than-life wildlife lanterns celebrating our gardens and estate.Throughout the garden trail there’ll be a feast for the senses with hot food, winter warmers, sweet treats and rich hot chocolate. Cornwall’s festive family tradition continues in 2026 with Dick Whittington & His Mousehole Cat, featuring a golden blend of songs, smiles, warmth and wonder in the South West’s biggest homegrown pantomime.
Get set for an enduring tale of friendship, fortune and fame from Cornwall Playhouse Productions – the powerhouse behind Peter Pan, Jack And The Beanstalk, and Aladdin.
Join local lad Dick Whittington, who dares to dream of a brighter future. Together with his trusty cat companion, our hopeful hero sets out on a quest for the land paved with gold. Will our dynamic duo strike it rich? Will a dastardly rat derail their plans? Will the gang ever make it home to Cornwall? Gather your tribe and settle in for this all-singing, all-dancing, unmissable treat for all the family.
Leading the laughs as our Dame? None other than Kernow King himself, Edward Rowe, pulling up his bloomers once more after bringing the house down as Widow Twerkey in last year’s Aladdin. This time he’s Wednesday Whittington – Dick’s formidable mum, a savvy Cornish businesswoman with a rat-catching empire and her sights set firmly on the bright lights of London.
Plus, the creative team behind last year’s Aladdin are back – and now with national Panto award nominations to their name. Nick Evans directs, with Richard Healey and Edward Rowe on writing duties, and Jevan Howard-Jones brings the choreography. Teaming up once again with HfC‘s own Cornwall Playhouse Productions team, they’re building on a run of critically acclaimed Christmas shows – so you know you’re in for something seriously special.

Terrye Teverson is a contemporary Cornish fine artist, digital printmaker and sculptor whose multidisciplinary practice bridges historical narrative and contemporary critique. This exhibition investigates the arsenic trade in Cornwall, blending traditional and contemporary mediums to create immersive experiences that challenge viewers to confront the desire for ‘beautiful’ objects and contemplate the means of production.

Terrye Teverson is a contemporary Cornish fine artist, digital printmaker and sculptor whose multidisciplinary practice bridges historical narrative and contemporary critique. This exhibition investigates the arsenic trade in Cornwall, blending traditional and contemporary mediums to create immersive experiences that challenge viewers to confront the desire for ‘beautiful’ objects and contemplate the means of production.

Join local lad Dick Whittington, who dares to dream of a brighter future. Together with his trusty cat companion, our hopeful hero sets out on a quest for the land paved with gold. Will our dynamic duo strike it rich? Will a dastardly rat derail their plans? Will the gang ever make it home to Cornwall? Gather your tribe and settle in for this all-singing, all-dancing, unmissable treat for all the family.
Leading the laughs as our Dame? None other than Kernow King himself, Edward Rowe, pulling up his bloomers once more after bringing the house down as Widow Twerkey in last year’s Aladdin. This time he’s Wednesday Whittington – Dick’s formidable mum, a savvy Cornish businesswoman with a rat-catching empire and her sights set firmly on the bright lights of London.
Plus, the creative team behind last year’s Aladdin are back – and now with national Panto award nominations to their name. Nick Evans directs, with Richard Healey and Edward Rowe on writing duties, and Jevan Howard-Jones brings the choreography. Teaming up once again with HfC‘s own Cornwall Playhouse Productions team, they’re building on a run of critically acclaimed Christmas shows – so you know you’re in for something seriously special.
