PAW Patrol’s Chase at Lappa Valley - Lappa Valley
If your little ones are always ready for action or love joining in on a rescue mission, there’s some PAWsome news heading your way. A very special visitor from a much-loved adventure series will soon be dropping into Lappa Valley, ready to add an extra dose of excitement to a day out in the Cornish countryside.
Chase from PAW Patrol is going to be visiting Lappa Valley on the 25th and 26th October 2026!
He will be appearing at intervals throughout the day, so don’t forget your camera.

Halloween Party - Bodmin Jail
For one night only, Bodmin Jail is transforming into an 80s Halloween nightmare.
Last year, we threw open the gates for our first Halloween party.This year, we’re getting Banged Up.
Bodmin Jail has teamed up with Cornish legends Jam & Meme to transform one of Cornwall’s most notorious landmarks into a Halloween party unlike anything we’ve done before.
Two stages. One historic prison. Six hours of music, chaos and Halloween madness.
For one night only, the cells, corridors and historic prison walls of Bodmin Jail become the backdrop to a huge night of DJs, dancing and Halloween mayhem.
This is Banged Up in Bodmin Jail.
Forget everything you know about Bodmin Jail.
For one night only, we’re rewinding the clock and transforming the Jail into an 80s Halloween nightmare.
Think classic horror. Old-school Halloween. VHS. Neon. Smoke. Questionable costumes. And a historic Victorian prison packed with people dancing until 2am.
Last year we brought you the Day of the Dead Disco.
This year, we’ve called in Jam & Meme.
And we’re taking over two stages.
They’ve caused enough trouble around Cornwall.
It’s about time somebody locked them up.
Jam & Meme are coming to Bodmin Jail.
For one night only, they’ll be swapping festival fields for prison walls as we bring together DJs, music and Halloween chaos for our biggest Halloween party yet.
And they won’t be coming alone…
From 8pm until 2am, two stages will take over Bodmin Jail.

Fantastical Halloween Experience - Torpoint
Something spooky is coming to Mount Edgcumbe this October half term…
From Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November, step inside Mount Edgcumbe for a brand-new Fantastical Halloween Experience, packed with family-friendly Halloween fun, curious characters, creative activities and plenty of surprises along the way.Across each three-hour session, families can explore the house and enjoy a mix of spooky storytelling, games, live entertainment, fantastical traders, food, reptiles (Friday and Sunday only), characters and Halloween activities designed to make the whole experience feel that little bit more magical.
Meet our spooky characters as you make your way around, settle in for a suitably eerie story, get involved with games and activities, and keep an eye out for plenty of photo opportunities throughout the experience.Every child’s admission also includes a Halloween Wizadry Workshop, giving little witches and wizards the chance to get creative as part of their visit.
Halloween Workshops
Want to add even more to your day? A programme of optional Halloween workshops will also be running throughout the event.
Simply purchase a £10 workshop token and choose from the workshops available when you arrive, subject to availability.
Activities are expected to include a changing selection such as:Day of the dead masks – Age 8+
Wool Ghosts – Age 5+
Spooky Pebble Painting – Age 5+
Macrame Ghosts – Age 10+
Workshops are suitable for different ages, with full details available on the day. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian.And of course, Halloween costumes are very much encouraged! Come dressed as something spooky, magical, fantastical or completely outrageous and get into the spirit of the event.

From the moment you arrive, discover a heritage station dressed for the spooky season, with glowing pumpkins, autumn leaves, cobwebs, lanterns and ghostly decorations tucked amongst the traditional railway surroundings.
The Halloween magic continues aboard our heritage coaches, decorated with spooky surprises, dangling cobwebs, bats, pumpkins and eerie touches for you to spot throughout your journey.
As steam drifts across the platform and whistles echo around the station, our historic railway provides the perfect backdrop for a wonderfully atmospheric Halloween adventure for the whole family.
Come dressed for the occasion if you wish and climb aboard for a journey full of steam, spooks and October Half Term fun!

Join us this Halloween for an atmospheric evening of mystery, history and haunting encounters at Trerice. As darkness falls and the veil between past and present begins to thin, forgotten memories stir once more within the manor. Familiar faces from centuries gone by appear in unexpected places and whispers echo through the rooms.As you wander through the house, you may encounter echoes of those who once lived, worked and walked these floorboards. Some memories are welcoming, whilst others should perhaps have remained forgotten.
Will you uncover the stories hidden within the walls?
Or will the house remember you, too?
'The House Remembers' is an atmospheric Halloween experience designed primarily for teenagers and adults. The evening includes low lighting, eerie encounters and occasional jump scares within the historic house. Children aged 11 and over are welcome when accompanied by an adult, but younger visitors may find some elements frightening.
Please book a 30 minute arrival time slot and arrive at Visitor Reception within this time - you can then stay until the house closes at 8:30pm.
The café will be open throughout the evening with seasonal light bites and drinks available before or after your visit to the house. The café will close at 8pm.

From Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November, step inside Mount Edgcumbe for a brand-new Fantastical Halloween Experience, packed with family-friendly Halloween fun, curious characters, creative activities and plenty of surprises along the way.Across each three-hour session, families can explore the house and enjoy a mix of spooky storytelling, games, live entertainment, fantastical traders, food, reptiles (Friday and Sunday only), characters and Halloween activities designed to make the whole experience feel that little bit more magical.
Meet our spooky characters as you make your way around, settle in for a suitably eerie story, get involved with games and activities, and keep an eye out for plenty of photo opportunities throughout the experience.Every child’s admission also includes a Halloween Wizadry Workshop, giving little witches and wizards the chance to get creative as part of their visit.
Halloween Workshops
Want to add even more to your day? A programme of optional Halloween workshops will also be running throughout the event.
Simply purchase a £10 workshop token and choose from the workshops available when you arrive, subject to availability.
Activities are expected to include a changing selection such as:Day of the dead masks – Age 8+
