Described as “a treat to the auditory senses” Helm & the ASB are from Cornwall. Their sound is a lush blanket of harmonies, draped over a twisting landscape of stories. The songs tell tales of Helm's life, travels and of himself. Mix in some sweet country slide guitar and a group of fine musicians and the end result is a collection of heartfelt songs that take you on a journey through the eyes of the author. In the short space of time that they have been on the road, they have amassed a good loyal following. The forthcoming album 'Superheroes' is currently in the final recording stages and will hopefully be released later this year.

Sportiva Events is running Plymouth Triathlon, previously known as Mount Edgcumbe Triathlon, in collaboration with Plymouth Tri Club.
We’ll be working closely with Plymouth Tri Club & the team at Mount Edgecumbe to deliver a fantastic event at an amazing venue that’s just a short ferry ride from the centre of Plymouth.
The sea swim is sheltered with land on both sides. The tough bike is on rolling roads but with some stunning sea views along the way. The final traffic free runs, based on a 5K lap, are within the grounds of Mount Edgcumbe & include some great coast path.
As there isn’t a good traffic-free bike course available, we are running the 2025 kids events as aquathlons.
New for 2025 is the Rame Head Race. This is a trail running race taking place the day before the Swims & Triathlons.
