The West of England Steam Engine Society Rally
Stithians Showground – 15th, 16th and 17th August 2025
We are looking forward to bringing you everything from steam engine trailer rides to vintage wood sawing, trade stands to heavy horse working demonstrations there will be something for everyone.
Admission gates open to the public at 9am on all 3 days, with a wide variety of ring events and displays around the showground continuously from 10am through to 5pm.

Bude Carnival - Bude
There’s a day time fete with stalls and entertainment on the Bude Rugby Pitch from 11am till 3pm. Please visit the Rugby Club on foot from the entrance on Bencoolen roundabout using the Crescent carpark. There is not parking in the Rugby Club for visitors only disabled access will be available.
The main Carnival procession leaves at 6.30pm from Bude Rugby Club. During the procession traffic restrictions will operate around the town.

We’re delighted to announce that our iconic magic in the Skies Firework displays are back for the Summer of 2025!
Join us at the Westernmost point of Cornwall for a thrilling cocktail of pyrotechnic wizardry and vibrant explosions lighting up the skies above Land’s End on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the school summer holidays!
Set to a thrilling soundtrack created especially for Land’s End, our iconic nights are the perfect way to end a visit to this unique destination.

Boconnoc Summer Party - Lostwithiel
Come to the Boconnoc Summer Party.
Bring your friends and family and enjoy bank holiday fun on Boconnoc’s grounds.
Expect lawn games, face painting, live music, cream teas, drinks from the bar and pizza from Kernowforno.
We will raise funds for the Farming Community Network with a tombola and charity cake competition.
There will be one category – Best Cake! The cakes will be cut and sold, with proceeds donated to the charity.
Please submit your cakes by 1pm, along with an ingredients list (for allergy safety).
Picnics welcome.

We’re delighted to announce that our iconic magic in the Skies Firework displays are back for the Summer of 2025!
Join us at the Westernmost point of Cornwall for a thrilling cocktail of pyrotechnic wizardry and vibrant explosions lighting up the skies above Land’s End on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the school summer holidays!
Set to a thrilling soundtrack created especially for Land’s End, our iconic nights are the perfect way to end a visit to this unique destination.
From 10am until late you can enjoy shopping, foodie treats, live music and family entertainment, before our iconic firework display lights up the landmark after dusk.
